Empanada Recipe: Delicious Empanadas-Two-Ways
Spinach Ham Empanada:
What you'll need:
Onion.
Mushroom.
Spinach.
Ham.
Cream cheese.
Sharp Cheddar cheese.
Unsweetened almond milk.
Pepper.
Water.
Empanada baking sheets.
Instructions:
Sauté the onion and mushroom for a few minutes.
Add the spinach.
Add the pepper.
Add the ham.
Once that is all cooked and combined, add the almond milk, cream cheese and sharp cheddar cheese.
Add the filling to an Empanade baking sheet.
Use a little bit of water to help with the closure and the dough sticking together.
Press with a fork the edge of the empanada to help with the dough sticking together as well.
Bake in the over 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
Apple Raisin Empanada:
What you'll need:
Raisins.
1 Apple.
Dash of cinnamon.
Water.
Empanada baking sheets.
Instructions:
Add hot water to the raisins and let them soak for 10 minutes.
Cut one apple into small pieces.
Pour a little bit of water in a pan.
Add the apple, cinnamon and raisins to the pan.
Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
Add the filling to an Empanade baking sheet.
Use a little bit of water to help with the closure and the dough sticking together.
Press with a fork the edge of the empanada to help with the dough sticking together as well.
Bake in the over 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
